Jason is a notable wrestling coach, who has coached on many levels, to both male and female athletes, elementary, middle school, high school, as well as adults. Everything from beginners to college, and aspiring to be professional level athletes.
He has won a coach of the year award from the California coaches association and coached his 2014 girls wrestling team to a California state championship title. He has been involved in wrestling for near a quarter century now! So far in his high school coaching career he has coached 2 national champions, 7 national placers, 5 individual state champions, over 15 state placers, as well as countless section champions, and placers.

Around 2009 he started coaching MMA fighters. He has practiced in the art of Jiu-jitsu for over 10 years, as well as boxing, kick boxing, and MMA. He has a good understanding of how to transition from just “good” wrestling technique, to teaching wrestling to MMA fighters, as well as to other sports that can benefit from learning wrestling. Jason Griffin is very excited to bring his proven successful coaching strategy’s, and teach everyone who wants to learn, at all level, inside a great gym atmosphere the art of wrestling.
