I started going to PFMMA when it very first opened in November 2014 and I couldn't be happier with this gym. I felt a little out of sorts when I first signed up, after all I was out of shape and hadn't worked out in a very long time, but that all went away the first day I walked into class. Huge props to my kickboxing coach Tyson Griffin and the rest of the PFMMA team for such an amazing experience. I've learned a lot and feel blessed to have joined a gym that I never once felt out of place or where my skill level wasn't enough. Everyone at the gym is friendly and helpful. It doesn't matter what your skill level is or how far you want to go with your training, there's a place for everyone. Here I am 2 years later, I've lost some weight, started eating better, learned how important body maintenance is and overall feel better. Even though I've moved and I can't get there as often as I used to or as much as I'd like, I still drop in from time to time. I miss my workouts which is something I thought I'd never say about working out but some days this place is my sanity and I always feel better after my kickboxing workout! If you haven't been to PFMMA yet I highly recommend dropping in, meeting everyone and taking a class. You won't be disappointed!
PFMMA is definitely a gym for everyone. Many gyms boast this but Performance Fitness MMA is the real deal. Their classes for both kids and adults are challenging in the best way. All of the coaches are extraordinarily friendly and will work tirelessly to make sure you become the best you. They will adapt their sessions to your needs if you are a beginner and offer tip/advice when you're ready to go further. Being a small gym there is a family atmosphere where friendships develop to keep you motivated. Joining PFMMA built confidence while building physical skills.
Excellent advice and the Integrity to back it!
Definitely the place to go if you want to improve your skills. Family training at it's best.
Igor Estrella is an awesome BJJ coach. Passionate and very motivational!
